Two, Four, Six, Eight.......

This weekend Kaylan had a cheerleading showcase with all of the middle schools in Lexington performing............she did an awesome job and we are so proud of her (she is in the back row on the left in the photo.) Kaylan cheers for Tates Creek and the entire Titan squad did an amazing job. Let's just say I had a full serving of drama with plenty of bobby pins, hairspray, sponge rollers, bows and enthusiasm on the side.

A pic of Kaylan with one of her bff's, Sam, looking amazingly awesome
(Kaylan's favorite saying) before their showcase. Both of these girls were also recognized for maintaining a 3.0 or better throughout middle school. Pretty, talented and smart........what more could you ask for?
The Butler family also continued celebrating Daniel's hockey state championship with a great banquet complete with speeches, awards, slideshows and lots of yummy food. The pic above is after sitting for several hours and stuffing our faces. BTW Daniel did start off the night with his shirt tucked in.................what's a mom to do?
Daniel's high school also had an assembly where the hockey team was announced and honored. The Lexington Fire Department then gave the team and coaches a ride through town while their fans honked and cheered them on...............very cool!!!

Teddy with Daniel and our other son, Michael Champa, after the ride on the firetruck. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the celebration but I have to say Teddy was the happiest of them all................"take a picture of me on the truck, Kim."
